Ryan Ursem joined TTx in 1994 and works as the Director of Cloud and Carrier Services.

I believe this comes from being in the US Army Infantry, as it is one of the many things that is drilled into you that will never leave you no matter how much time has passed.”

In regards to People Mastery… ”In short, I truly believe that every single human being is fascinating. I have said this to people in the past and they laughed it off, but if you sit back and think about it, your life experiences could fill a book. You just think it is boring because you lived it but to others the story of your life is amazing and I am genuinely interested in people’s stories.”

What brings you joy at work?

“Building relationships with cloud service providers that allow amazing client and salesperson experiences. Life and business is about people and personal connections. If you build trust and friendship with your partners they will go that extra mile for your clients. Your client will then have more trust that they can confide in you and the relationships become circular, a sustained group of people that trust and rely on each other to deliver.”

What brings you joy outside of work?

“I love my gym time, coaching club baseball and bringing my German Shepherd to visit local nursing homes. Going to the local bar to have a few drinks on Friday with my wife and friends is the single best way to end a week.”
